My daughter attended 7th grade with your son. She was very saddened to hear of Austin's death. As was the whole school. (CVMS) She told me he was very funny, nice, and smart. The next morning after hearing of Austin's passing my daughter checked her phone and the students had started texting each other with messages in Austin's memory and forwarding it on to one another. Many people cared about your son. I ask God to hold you in his arms, I pray that Austin rest in peace. Sending thoughts of love, strength and peace to all of you.

Austin, I used to babysit you when you were little. You were my Roman's first friend! Your beautiful brown eyes and huge smile never changed as you grew, they just got bigger and more beautiful! I remember so many little things about you. I will keep them in my heart, knowing they will always bring a smile to my face. I have a son in heaven and believe that you boys are truly in a better place. I know Gabe will make room on Christ's lap for you! My heart breaks for you, Molly, I would give everything I have to be able to carry this burden for you. I know he will watch over you as Gabe watches over me, and I will be praying for you and sending love your way always. As painful as this may be, I know that there is light at the end of this tunnel. It is a journey that ends in Christ's arms. This is not goodbye, it is see you soon.
Trying to help others through their pain is the only thing that has helped me heal my own. If you ever want to talk, I can be reached through Monica Hart Or Ronica Lynch. Jen

You were a good boy; my boy. My heart is breaking so come wrap your wings around me and give me strength to say goodbye. Molly and family,
I am so saddened to hear of Austin's death. I can't even imagine how difficult this is for you. I look at the pictures and remember the young Austin I once worked with who had such an incredibly contagious smile and who loved to have fun 'playing' with me.
I pray that God brings you peace, comfort and healing, and that your memories will help you through the tough times. I will miss him and miss seeing you here at school...
Take care...

Jon, Molly, and Brooke-
My heart broke when I heard the news about Austin. I am at a loss of words to express my sorrow for your loss. Austin was truly an amazing person. I knew this to be true from the day he started in my first grade classroom. His smile was contagious, and his wit even at a young age, was right on target. I have been reflecting back on the time he was in my class. From the time he showed off his world geography knowledge to the time he played a butterfly in our class play, Austin's light was always shining bright for the world to see. I will miss him!
Your family has been on my mind and in my prayers day and night. I pray that the Lord give you strength and peace during this time. Lean on HIM! HE will hold you up.

John, Molly, and Brooke,
As I sit and stare at the blinking curser before me, struggling to find the words that would possibly bring some bit of comfort to you at this time, I am realizing that no words, regardless of how beautifully written, could even begin to ease your pain. Instead, I just want you to know how much I absolutely adored Austin when he was in my class. I will always remember his incredibly contagious laugh…the one that made his eyes wrinkle to the point of closing! When he started laughing, it spread like wildfire, and in an instant…I had lost control of the class! He was also the master of the quick-witted-one-liners that went over most of the kids’ heads, but always made me chuckle. That’s the Austin I will ALWAYS remember!
My heart aches...

What a wonderful gift from God Austin was to all of us. I loved how he always had a smile that would warm up a room. I will always remember the day that I got a call from Jon telling me that Molly was in labor and the excitement in his voice. Jon and Molly remember that Jesus will be there to lift you up, He will be there to calm your fears, and he will be there to heal your pain. Trust in the Lord for everything and He will see you through. We love you all.

I haven't know you all very long, but in the time I have had to get to know you all I see such a loving family that is very blessed and loved. Austin made such an impact in such a short time. His beautiful smile and the twinkle in his eye, so helpful at the office without one hint of complaints. As a mom, I can't even imagine, but I do know our heavenly Father will carry you all in his everlasting loving arms. May He be your source of hope, love, and peace.
